Therapeutic Interventions: Counselling, Art Therapy and Play Therapy
Meath Women’s Refuge and Support Services offer a wide range of therapeutic supports and referrals for these supports are made through our engagement with women and children in refuge, in the community and through our direct work with children.
All supports provided require an assessment of need which requires face to face contact with a refuge support worker, an outreach worker or our child development and support worker for a referral. The counsellor, art therapist or play therapist will work with the woman or child to plan a programme of support.
All our theraputic supports are resourced through our fundraising activities and donations. If you would like to donate or support this work, please go to our donate page here
